Original version and notes by monks of Montserrat

Montserrat Bible, first published in 1970 in a single volume, is the resulting translation by the Fathers Justí Bruguera, Guiu Camps, Romuald M. Díaz with some 10 translators, all of them monks of Montserrat. They continued and achieved the work that Father Bonaventura Ubach began in 1926.

The chosen language for this translation is the normal literary Catalan, with a special attention to convey the expressive richness of the original languages.
